The Plug-in Hybrid Sport Utility Vehicle produces a combined 221 horsepower.
The 2021 Nissan Rogue offers only one option, despite its upgrades: a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and 181 lb. ft. of torque. It's the equivalent of the three-cylinder EcoBoost engine in the 2021 Escape. However, the customer can take advantage of many other fuel-saving options from Ford.
While the third-generation Nissan Rogue gets a new look, the 2021 Ford Escape also gets a makeover and is very much in line with the recent trend of hybridization. Ford customers will quickly notice that the greener models of the 2021 Escape are high-performance, powerful and efficient on the road. None of that is true with Nissan.
Regardless of the model, the 2021 Escape offers excellent driving dynamics and a spacious interior, just like the Nissan Rogue. Thanks to its storage spaces, comfortable and fully adjustable seats and finishes that are pleasing to the eyes, the 2021 Escape is at the top of its category. With its attractive dashboard and large touch screen, the 2021Ford Escape offers an infotainment system and technological features worthy of the blue oval. The Nissan Rogue is looking successful as well, the quality of workmanship having been enhanced compared to the previous generation.
